
Registration fee is $1,000-$1,500 (depending on payment plan)
Tuition begins first day of school and after payments are due on the 1st of each month.
A $50 late fee will be assessed for any payment not received by the 8th of the month.

In accordance with Texas law, Fort Bend Barber College maintains a fair and transparent refund policy for students who withdraw, are terminated, or otherwise do not complete their training after the cancellation period. Refunds are calculated based on the percentage of scheduled program hours completed at the time of withdrawal. The official withdrawal date used to determine the refund amount will be the earliest of the student’s last date of attendance, the date written notice of withdrawal is received, or ten (10) school days after the student’s last recorded attendance. If a student does not begin training after the cancellation period, the school may retain up to $100 of tuition, (does not apply to registration fee) and the remaining balance will be refunded. Any applicable refund will be issued within thirty (30) days of the student’s official withdrawal or termination date.

To ensure students meet the standards required to become licensed professionals, Fort Bend Barber College evaluates student performance using a combination of practical skills, theory knowledge, attendance, and professional participation.
Final grades are calculated using the following criteria:
Total: 100% - Students must reach a 70% passing requirement.

⏰ Punctuality –
Students must arrive on time. Tardiness of more than 30 minutes must be notified to the instructor.
🚨 Maximum Absences Allowed –
• Students cannot exceed 10% of total program hours in unexcused absences.
• More than 10 consecutive unexcused absences may result in dismissal.
• Must ask for leave of absence in case of a major life event.
📌 Excused Absences –
• Illness
• Family emergency
• Court or legal obligations
• Planned vacation/ personal time
📌 Unexcused Absences –
• No-call, no-show
• Repeated tardiness
• Missing class without prior notice
🛠 Makeup Work & Missed Hours –
• Missed hours can be made up through approved extra practice sessions, please notify and receive prior approval of instructor.
Failure to meet attendance and rules of conduct requirements may result in probation, suspension, or dismissal.
Fort Bend Barber College is proud to report a current job placement and employment rate of 75% among graduates actively seeking employment in the barbering field. Our program is designed to prepare students with the technical skills, professional habits, and real-world experience needed to transition confidently into the workforce. Through hands-on clinic training, mentorship, and career guidance, we support our students from enrollment through employment as they begin their professional barbering careers.
